WARDOGS Weapon Stats — TTK Math & Damage Numbers
WARDOGS has no official stat table — BULKHEAD has never published weapon damage, recoil or price data, so every number on this page is community-measured and graded for confidence. What the community has measured is enough to explain the meta: the Season 2 calibre cuts, the TTK math behind the tier list, and the leg-shot rule that beats every armour set.
The Official Stat Problem
Unlike most shooters, WARDOGS ships no public weapon database. The community catalogues (WardogsBuild, MetaForge and the data-mined dumps) measure stats from in-game behaviour and publish them with confidence grades. Treat exact numbers as measurements, not gospel — and expect Season 3 (Nov 12) to shift the unlock tiers that gate everything below.
The Season 2 Calibre Cuts
Season 2 applied flat damage cuts by calibre — the single biggest balance change since launch:
| Calibre | Damage cut | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| .308 Win | −25% | Hardest-hit rifle calibre; still the DMR king |
| 7.62×54mmR | −20% | Bolt-action and sniper calibre |
| 7.62×39mm | −19% | The AK/Galil family |
| .50 Cal | −16% | Sniper hit-location damage was raised as compensation |
TTK Math for the Meta Rifles
| Weapon | TTK (chest) | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| M14 | ~171 ms | Fastest measured TTK in Season 2 |
| TCX-SPR | ~449 ms | 7.62×39 assault rifle, Assault 20 |
| M4 | ~569 ms @ 100 m | 0.84 MOA — the accuracy pick |
| Galil | 650 RPM, 28 dmg/chest | 950 m/s velocity; the mid-game workhorse |
| AK-74 | — | Budget S-tier; 5.45mm escaped the worst of the cuts |
| AMR-50 | ~41.5 RPM | Chest one-shots only through level 2 vests now; still one-shots heads through level 4 helmets |
The Leg Meta: Armour Cannot Save Your Thighs
Season 2’s defining discovery: HP ammo aimed at the thighs kills in 2 hits with DMR/7.62 rifles and 4 hits with 5.45/5.56 — regardless of Level 4 armour. Leg hitboxes are not armoured, so the cheapest TTK upgrade in the game is not a better gun — it is a different magazine. Details on ammo types and how to pair them with attachments are on the attachments page.
Why Armour Beats Guns
- The Season 2 consensus: buy armour before weapons. The calibre cuts hit guns harder than vests.
- Level 4 armour turns most chest TTKs into bullet sponges — which is exactly why the leg meta exists.
- For the full ranking logic, see the weapon tier list.
