About the WARDOGS Wiki — Who We Are & How We Verify

The WARDOGS Wiki is a fan-made resource run by a small team of WARDOGS players. This page explains who we are, how we research and verify the content, how often the site is updated, and how to reach us.

Who Runs This Site

The site is written and maintained by the WARDOGS Wiki Team — players who followed the game through beta and Early Access. We started the wiki on Sep 8, 2026, two days before the Early Access launch, because launch-week information was scattered across Reddit threads, Discord messages, TikToks and dozens of one-off articles. The wiki collects the questions players actually search for and answers them in one place, with sources.

We are not affiliated with or endorsed by BULKHEAD Interactive or Team17. This is an independent fan project. Official announcements, patch notes and store pages are our sources — we do not speak for the developers, and we are not a support channel for account or purchase issues.

How We Research & Verify

• Primary sources first: official BULKHEAD and Team17 announcements, patch notes, the Steam store page (app 1867240) and the FirstLook portal at community.wardogs.com.
• Community sources cross-checked: where the official record is thin (weapon stats, XP numbers, tier lists), we cross-check community guides and databases — including MetaForge, KeenGamer, Games Fuze, guided.news and the larger wiki farms — and cite them on the page.
• In-game confirmation where possible: mechanics like the repair drills, supply pallets and queue behavior are confirmed by our own play sessions.
• Not-yet-verified data is marked: table entries we cannot confirm carry a "—", and pages say so. We would rather show a gap than publish a wrong number.
• Every page carries a Last updated date and its own source note, so you can see how fresh the information is.

How the Site Is Maintained

The game is in Early Access, and the meta moves with every patch. We review the site weekly during Early Access: pages that changed are updated, new player questions are added as new pages, and the changelog below records every meaningful update. If you spot an error or an outdated number, tell us on the Contact page — corrections are usually fixed within days.

Corrections Policy

We correct factual errors as soon as they are confirmed. Send the page URL, the error and a source if you have one through the Contact page. For official statements we missed (patch notes, hotfixes, roadmap changes), point us at the announcement and we will update the relevant pages and their dates.
