WARDOGS Towers — Codes, Captures & the Hot Zone
Towers are WARDOGS’ map-control mechanic: capture them to reveal digits of a code, collect all digits as a team, and you can draw the roaming hot zone to your own position — a swing bigger than any single firefight.
How Towers Work
- Towers are scattered across the map around the randomized Control Zone.
- Capturing a tower reveals a digit of a code to your team.
- Digits are shared team-wide — a squad capturing towers across the map assembles the code faster.
- A team with the full code can draw the hot zone to its own position.
Why the Hot Zone Matters
Inside the hot zone, one soldier counts as two for scoring. Drawing it onto your own fortified position forces the enemy to attack you at double value — or give up the zone. It is the single biggest scoring swing in the game (see the maps guide).
Tower Strategy
- Hold two towers and contest a third — full control of all three is rare and usually unnecessary.
- Towers near supply routes are worth more than remote ones: easier to resupply and defend.
- Build a FOB covering a tower approach; Hesco walls turn a capture into a fortress.
- Time the hot-zone draw with your team’s biggest push — drawing it early wastes the advantage.
Are Tower Codes Fixed?
Tower codes are generated per match — codes from screenshots or guides will not work in your game. Tools that promise "working codes" for the current match are misleading; the digits come from capturing towers yourself.
