WARDOGS Season 3 — Start Date, Wipe & What Is Confirmed
Season 3 is targeted for November 12, 2026 — pulled forward after Season 2’s rocky launch. This page tracks everything confirmed so far: the wipe rules, the new primitive servers, the season-cadence change and the progression rework. It updates the day the official patch notes drop.
When Does Season 3 Start?
BULKHEAD has announced November 12, 2026 as the Season 3 target. The maintenance window has not been published yet — Season 2 ran 08:00–09:30 UTC, and the servers page is the place to confirm live status on the day.
Why Season 3 Is Coming Early
Season 2 launched Oct 15 to a rough reception, and BULKHEAD responded unusually fast: the developer admitted Season 2 was rushed, and instead of patching it into shape, moved Season 3 forward from the normal cycle. The messaging from the team (including CEO Joe Brammer) is that Early Access exists for exactly this — burning a bad season and shipping the corrected one sooner.
The Season 3 Wipe — What Resets
- Cash — full economy reset. Leftover cash converts to Gold Bars automatically (the conversion rate has not been published).
- Role levels / WARDOG XP — reset.
- Weapon, attachment and vehicle unlocks — reset; everyone re-progresses.
- Gold Bars and purchased permanent cosmetics — carry over.
Note the context: Season 2 did not get the mid-season wipe players asked for — the community wanted the economy reset before Season 3, and the answer was to move Season 3 itself forward. How wipes work structurally is on the Wipe & Seasons guide.
Primitive Servers — The Big New Feature
Season 3 introduces limited "primitive" servers: servers that exclude power weapons and vehicles entirely, recreating the early-to-mid game progression. It is a direct answer to the Season 2 criticism that the vertical gear climb made late-season matches feel solved. Expect them to launch alongside (or shortly after) the main season — the exact server list is not announced yet.
The Cadence Change: Three-Month Seasons
- Seasons move from monthly to three-month cycles, with a smaller mid-season update between wipes.
- BULKHEAD is reworking progression toward less vertical design — fewer "best gear at the end" walls.
- A possible Intel system and a non-linear unlock tree are targeted for early 2027 — announced as directions, not promises.
What Season 3 Means for Loadouts
Season 3 ships a different unlock order and XP curve, which means weapon and attachment unlock tiers will shift from Season 2. Until the patch notes land, treat every Season 2 unlock level on this site as "Season 2 values" — the tier list and attachment tables re-stamp when the real numbers publish.
What Is Still Unannounced
- The patch notes themselves — no 0.3.0 changelog yet.
- The maintenance window and exact go-live time.
- New weapons, attachments and vehicles — no lists published yet.
- The Gold Bar conversion rate for leftover cash.
