WARDOGS Driver XP Guide — Leveling, Unlocks & the Fastest Route

Driver is one of the two roles (with Pilot) that level entirely outside the gunfight — you earn XP by transporting players and supplies. This guide covers exactly what pays XP, the full unlock table, and the community-verified leveling loop.

What Earns Driver XP

ActionXP / payout
Delivering players to the hot zone~50 XP per delivered player, plus a survival bonus
Supply crate deliveriesXP per crate; a builder loading it in earns you extra cash and XP
Roadkills and turret killsXP for vehicle kills
Moving the spawn APC at match startXP for relocating the team’s spawn vehicle

Driver Unlock Table

LevelUnlock
3URAL truck — your first transport, the leveling workhorse
6Kodiak (LMG turret)
15Armored Humvee
16 / 20Large supply crate
35L2A6 heavy tank — the tank is locked behind this level in Early Access

The Fastest Leveling Loop

  1. Buy a URAL truck (Driver 3) — or a transport helicopter if you also level Pilot.
  2. Load supply pallets at HQ: 2 by ground, 1 by air.
  3. Drive or fly the pallets to a friendly FOB near the combat zone.
  4. Drop the pallet with G.
  5. A builder loading the pallet in earns you extra cash and XP — coordinate with the FOB crew.
  6. Vehicles auto-repair and refuel at the main base, so you can loop this all match.

How Driver Fits Your WARDOG Level

Your overall WARDOG level is the sum of all six role levels. Because early levels are much cheaper than deep ones, leveling several roles in parallel beats grinding one track — Driver pairs naturally with Pilot (supply runs) and Support (FOB logistics). Note that Season 1 slowed the XP curve: levels 10–20 take more than double the beta time, and median players land around level 20 after 20–25 hours (see the classes page for every role’s numbers).
