WARDOGS Best Settings — Graphics & Performance

WARDOGS is built on Unreal Engine 5 and runs a 100-player destructible battlefield — CPU and GPU both matter. This guide covers the graphics presets, what BULKHEAD tuned each tier for, and how to hold frames without losing visibility.

Graphics Presets

WARDOGS ships named graphics presets from "Potato" (maximum FPS) up to "Overkill". Official targets: a GTX 1660 should hold 1080p Low at 60fps (upscaled); an RTX 3070 targets 1440p Medium at 70fps+ native.

The Potato Debate

During beta the community flagged the Potato preset as a competitive visibility advantage — low settings remove foliage and clutter, making enemies easier to spot. BULKHEAD has acknowledged the feedback. Expect the preset balance to keep changing during Early Access.

One beta bug blocked players on the audio settings screen — if you cannot get past it, see the Fix & Errors page.
