WARDOGS Console — PS5, Xbox & Crossplay

WARDOGS is not on console at Early Access launch. This page answers the most-searched console questions: PS5, Xbox, Game Pass, crossplay and the multi-platform roadmap.

Is WARDOGS on Console?

No. Early Access (Sep 10, 2026) is PC via Steam only. No Xbox or PlayStation version has been announced for launch. A full multi-platform release is planned for after the PC Early Access period (12–24 months later).

Xbox

No Xbox version has been announced, and BULKHEAD has not commented on Xbox specifically. Treat all Xbox listings — including any "WARDOGS Xbox Series X key" on reseller sites — as unofficial until the studio confirms. The fake-listing patterns are the same ones described on the Key & Access page.

Game Pass & Subscriptions

No Game Pass deal has been announced for PC or Xbox, and there is no PS Plus announcement either. WARDOGS is a paid title on Steam with no subscription requirement — nothing about a subscription release has been said by BULKHEAD or Team17, so any "free WARDOGS on Game Pass" claim is speculation.

Crossplay

Crossplay has not been announced. As a PC-only game during Early Access the question is moot for now, but it matters for the console launch: when the multi-platform release arrives, whether PlayStation, Xbox and PC share servers is an open question. Nothing about crossplay or cross-progression has been confirmed — watch for a statement when console versions are revealed.

The Console Roadmap

• Now: PC via Steam (Early Access, launched Sep 10, 2026).
• Planned: a full multi-platform release at 1.0 — expected late 2027 to 2028, after roughly 12–24 months of Early Access.
• Unannounced: which consoles, whether there is crossplay, pricing on console, and whether Early Access buyers get anything at 1.0.

How to Stay Updated

Console news will land on X (@WARDOGS) and in the official Discord first — both are linked on the Community page. The PS5 page and this page update the day anything is confirmed.
