WARDOGS PS5 — Release Status

WARDOGS is PC-only for Early Access. No PS5 version has been announced yet, but BULKHEAD and Team17 plan a full multi-platform release after the PC Early Access period. Here is everything known about the PlayStation side.

PS5 Status at Launch

• Early Access (Sep 10, 2026): Steam/PC only — no PS5 version.
• Planned: a multi-platform release is planned for the full 1.0 launch, expected late 2027 to 2028.
• Nothing to pre-order yet: any "PS5 edition" listing is not official.

PS5 FAQ

• Is WARDOGS on PS5 right now? No — Early Access is Steam/PC only.
• When is the PS5 release? No date. The multi-platform release is planned for the 1.0 launch, roughly 12–24 months into Early Access (late 2027 to 2028).
• Can I pre-order the PS5 version? No — there is no PSN listing yet, and any site selling a "PS5 key" is a scam (see below).
• Will my Steam progress carry to PS5? Nothing has been announced about cross-progression. Wipes are seasonal on PC regardless (see Wipe & Seasons).
• Will there be crossplay with PC? Not announced — crossplay is covered in depth on the console page.

PS5 Listings to Avoid

With 1.25M+ copies sold, WARDOGS is a target for fake console listings. Grey-market sites already list "WARDOGS PS5 keys" — there is no such thing. No PSN listing exists, BULKHEAD has announced no console date, and any site selling console access today is selling nothing. The key-reseller warning patterns on the Key & Access page apply here too: if it is not on the official store, it is not real.

How to Get Notified

Console announcements will come through the official channels listed on the Community page — X (@WARDOGS) and the official Discord announce first. This page updates the day a PS5 version is confirmed; until then, the only way to play is Steam.
